It's still better than nothing thoug and it really is based on some kind of silkypix soft so there are things really familiar to me.Which version of Silkypix LE do you have? I have just found the CD that came with my K-50 and am about to try it on Windows 10. Some options aren't explained - there's a slider or button and you really can't tell what it does. One thing with DCU I don't like is quite rough scale on sliders - the "jumps" are quite large, no option to fine tune them better. Probably there was an upgrade accessible back then. Some threads suggest that the support of k50 came with one of the later version and is not supported by one that I have (on with 08 at the end). I probably will do just that, as I coudln't get Silkypix working with the DNGs from K50. I've also written to the software developers and they sent me to Ricoch as ones responsible for that version and support of the camera.

The SilkyPix supplied with the K-50 seems to have been a bit of a one-off, as it was an "LE" version and doesn't seem to have been updated anywhere!Īs a DCU user myself, I'd suggest getting to grips with DCU5 as you've managed to install it … it's rather more comprehensive than the earlier versions of SilkyPix … once you get over the initial hump in the learning curve you'll find it's quite straight-forward to use I probably will do just that, as I coudln't get Silkypix working with the DNGs from K50.
